  • Outdoor Adventure Film Grant 2021: The #OregonMade Creative Foundation and Travel Oregon are offering a $20,000 grant to produce a short film. This year they are looking for experienced BIPOC filmmakers and on-camera subjects who want to tell a personal story involving the outdoors. Deadline September 4 at 5pm PT.

  • Black Public Media 360 Incubator+: Now accepting applications for nonfiction or limited series projects that are in early development stages and intended for public media distribution. At least one key production member must be of African descent. Deadline September 15.

  • The Imagination Project: Portland-based creatives can apply for a "creative basic income" of $1,000/month for three months. During that time, winners will create a project—in any medium or form—for which they previously had no time, resources or funding. Apply by August 27.

The Empath Accelerator: This new accelerator for Black Women, Indigenous Women, & Women of Color (BIWOC) prepares participants to show up more confidently in corporate culture as well as personal business pursuits through connection with the self. There's a role for everyone—you can: 

  • Fund the Empath Accelerator

  • Apply for it if you identify as a BIWOC

  • Nominate a BIWOC
